Farm

Our family farm is nestled in a small valley dotted with magnificent White Oaks located just fifteen miles southeast of Salem, Oregon. We have dedicated ourselves to sustainable farming practices including the use of organic fertilizers and rarely use any type of herbicides. Our farm has recently been enrolled in the Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) to plant thousands of natives to enhance wildlife corridors along our two creeks and install fencing to reduce erosion along their banks. We are also a supporter of renewable energy and have purchased 100% wind power and run all of our equipment on biodiesel derived from used vegetable oil. We are constantly striving to keep a balance with nature on the farm where we believe abundant healthy pastures translate into a delicious healthy product.

Cattle

Our Black Angus cattle are raised on lush grass and plenty of sunshine to bring you the tender flavors of rolling green hills in the bountiful Willamette Valley. Our cattle are free-range on pasture their entire life where they will never see a feedlot situation. Best of all, we feed a 100% vegetarian diet and they are never given any anti-biotics or synthetic hormones.Throughout the growing season, we are constantly rotating them into temporary paddocks on a weekly basis to ensure they are given the most nutritious and healthiest grass available. During the winter time, they have access to our 85 year old historic barn with fresh bedding provided on a bi-weekly basis.
